Maya's Haircut April 2006

Maya got her hair cut on 4/4/2006. This is the first time that Maya agreed to have more than 2 inches cut. She donated her hair to "Locks for Love" and does not regret for a minute the decision that she made! I explained to Maya that her hair would "grow back" and by donating 10 plus inches, she would be contributing greatly to a wonderful cause. She actually understood and felt very passionate about doing so. She boasted the next day to her teachers at school that she "donated her hair" and has been very proud ever since. I hope that she remembers this for years to come!
